    Highlands Conference
    NJSFWC Highlands District Spring Conference and Achievement Day is Wed., April 10th. Registration is 9:00 AM; Conference and Lunch are 10:00-3:00PM. Location: The Zeris Inn, Mountain Lakes. $37.00 per person. Advance registration required.

    General Meeting
    Our April General Meeting and Luncheon will be held Wednesday, April 3rd at 11:45AM at the LMCC. We will double our knowledge with presentations from two guest speakers. Don't forget to wear blue for CASA!

    Daytime Literature
    Daytime Lit will meet on Monday, April 8th at 12:00 noon at the Village Cafe. Gerri will lead the review of "Before We Were Yours" by Lisa Wingate. Please bring your lunch and join in the discussion of the Tennessee Children’s 'Home' Society.

    Arts Creative
    Doris Schwint, our renown local artist, will teach us how to "draw using pen and ink technique" at this informative session. We meet at the Village Cafe on Wednesday, April 10th, from 1:00 - 3:00PM. Seminar cost: donation towards an Art Scholarship.

    Evening Literature
    Our April Evening Literature book is "Beartown" by Fredrik Blackman. It's a profound novel about a small town with a big dream—and the price to be paid for it. Discussion begins at 7:00 PM at Barbara's home on Monday, April 15th.

    Out To Lunch Bunch
    The Out To Lunch Bunch meets on Wednesday, April 17th at Homer's in Andover, at 12:30 PM. On the agenda with lunch is monthly activity planning for next year. Members are to wear anything they want ... (within respectable reason, of course)!

    Board Meeting
    Board Members will meet at 10:00AM at the Sparta VFW on Wednesday, April 24th for the next scheduled Board Meeting. Please submit your Board Reports to Beth and Sue by Monday, April 22nd so as to be included on the meeting agenda.

    Garden / Conservation
    This group will be celebrating Spring's arrival at the Farm at Green Village in Chatham, on Thursday, April 11th. It is a 30-acre nursery & "gardener's destination". Lunch follows at the Chatham River Grille. Departure from LMCC is 10:30 AM.

    We are hosting our 70th Anniversary Party in style, in the LMCC Ballroom! Each of you has made the club what it is today; a vibrant, caring and wonderfully successful Woman's Club. Please plan to join us in celebrating our 70 young years of success!

    Mah Jongg meets every Tuesday from 12:15 to 4:15PM at the Village Cafe. Game loses (which are limited) are gains for charity! Please contact Eddy to reserve a seat.

    Circle of Yarns meets second, third, and fourth Thursdays of the month. Meeting is from 1:00 to 4:00PM. Contact Janet K. if you wish to attend. Please note, handmade, donated, crocheted and knitted items are always gratefully accepted.

    Mark your June Calendar... Sparta Day, presented by the Junior Woman's Club of Sparta, is Saturday, June 1st at Station Park; 11:00AM - 5:00PM. Please note that the event start and end times have shifted one hour later than last year's event.
